Top 5 books so far this year

Hello everybody today i thought i would tell you my top 5 books i have read this year. This year i have read many books so it was really difficult to narrow it down to five.

My first favorite is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Mass. This has to be one of my favorite series i have read this year.
This book is about an assassin who is serving a life sentence in the salt mines of Endovier. Until one day a man turns up who could be the answer to all her problems. Celeana must fight the best thieves and assassins in the land.
This series gets better ad better with each book i would highly recommend it to anyone. Also the covers are beautiful.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass has to be in my top 5. This year there have been many retellings being released with Beauty and the Beast being one of my favorite films i just had to give this book ago and i am glad i did.
This book is about a girl called Feyre who doesn't think twice when killing a wolf only to realize the wolf was a magical creature. Tamlin arrive at Feyre house for vengeance for killing one of his. They come to agreement Feyre is imprisoned in an enchanted court Feyre is aloud to roam but not leave.
A Court of Mist and Fury can't come quick enough. This book was amazing it was everything i expected from it.

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven was beautifully written.
Meeting on the ledge of the school bell tower. Theodore Finch is intrigued by death but every time he tries to kill himself something will always interrupt. Violet Markey is counting down the days to graduation where she can escape the grief of loosing her sister. As Violet world grows, Theodore world stays the same.
I have to admit this book did take sometime to get into but i am so glad i didn't stop. I ugly cried which hasn't happened in a very long time.  Everything about this book is perfect and that is why its in my top 5.

Night Owls by Jenn Bennett. I have to admit Night Owls was a cover by but i am so glad i picked it up.
Beatrix world turns up side down when she meets Jack on San Francisco's night bus. Who possibly maybe the most notorious graffiti artist. Beatrix soon discovers who Jack really is.
I loved this book. I loved everything about Jack. Overall i would recommend this book to anyone.

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon.
Maddy is allergic to the world, she hasn't left her house in seventeen years. The only people who she sees are her mum and Carla her nurse. That is until she meets Olly the boy who has moved next door.
I really enjoyed this book, after reading some mixed reviews about it i was unsure t first but i am really glad i picked it up. I wasn't expecting the twist and i think that is why i enjoyed it like i did.

Thank you for reading. Please comment below what your favorite books are this year.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Pages: 416
Genre: Fantasy, Romance

Published by: Bloomsbury

Let me tell you about this book:
It was a normal day for Feyre hunting was natural for her so when she kills a wolf Feyre thinks nothing of it. Until one day Tamlin seeks the one who killed one of his friends. Feyre will soon learn that taking a life of a magical creature comes at a high price. When a deal is made between Tamlin and Feyre, Feyre is imprisoned in an enchanted court which is her enemy's kingdom. There is only one condition Feyre cannot escape. Feyre must find a way to break a spell, or she will lose Tamlin forever.

This is the first book in a very long time that i just couldn't put down. From the first page i stopped everything. Everything about this book was just amazing i have such high hopes for the rest of the series. Also the book cover is just gorgeous.

My favorite character has to be Lucien. Lucien can be funny but at the same time he can serious. I also really enjoyed Lucien and Feyre together they just bounced of one another.

Review:Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Pages: 358
Genre: Romance/ Paranormal
Release date: December 6th 2011
Published by: Entangled Publishing

Let me tell you about this book:
Katy has moved to a new town her mum is eager for her to make some friends. After her mum mentioning that the next door neighbors are about the same age as her, Katy thought it would be a good idea to ask where the shops were.
Her two next door neighbors Daemon and Dee are ALIENS.
One night Katy is attacked and Daemon has to save her but doing this has its consequences. Will they be able to handle them?

My thoughts-
I LOVED this book. Obsidian is the first book in the Lux series. I hope the rest of the series is even better than the first book.

My favorite character has to be Dee at the beginning of the book Dee was the first person to introduce herself to Katy which i really liked. From the very beginning you can tell she really wants to be friends with Katy, but Daemon being Daemon tries to push Katie away though he just brings her closer.

Overall i would highly recommend this book to anyone, can't wait to read the rest the of the series.

Have you read this book if so did you enjoy it as much as i did?

The first book i bought is Cross Stitch by Diana Gabaldon. This book is about a women in 1945 called Claire Randall she finds herself in a violent place in 1743. Now i have been wanting to read Nicholas Sparks for a while now i am a huge fan of his films. I am in love with the cover of this book. Honestly i haven't heard much about this book all i know is that, Pearl and Rose are half-sisters to Pearl Rose killed her mother and Rose is the rat.
"A painful and toughing debut about dealing with love, loss and the need to keep loving" by Sunday express.
"Incredibly gripping, enormously moving" by Radio 2 book club.

Review: Eleanor&Park by Rainbow Rowell

Name- Eleanor&Park by Rainbow Rowell
Release Date- April 12, 2012
Genre-Young- Adult fiction
Pages- 325

Let me tell you a little bit about this book-
Eleanor and park are two very different people. Eleanor is a new kid in own she defiantly sticks out from the crowd, with her red hair and her odd clothing she really can't hide. Then there is Park, a boy at the back of the bus with his head in a book and listening to music.

My thoughts-
I loved this book each page wanted me to read more of it. I loved Eleanor and Parks romance it isn't your typical couple but they are brilliant together. It all started of with Park lending Eleanor comic to read.

The best part of the book for me was the ending which was a bitter sweet moment for me as i didn't want the book to end, it didn't end the way i thought it was going to end but it ended totally opposite.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good short romance book. If you love a book that will make you laugh and cry this is the book for you.

Hope you enjoyed. If you have read this book what was you thoughts and feeling about it? Please comment below.
